Illustrations for CDC campaign

I recently worked with WFGD STUDIO on illustrated postcards for the new campaign of Community Design Collaborative. CDC is a Philadelphia-based non-profit organization that partners with the community to strengthen neighborhoods. They match nonprofits with skilled volunteers such as architects, engineers and construction workers.

CLIENT: COMMUNITY DESIGN COLLABORATIVE     |    ILLUSTRATION: DAVIDE MAZZUCHIN    |    ART DIRECTION: WFGD STUDIO

Each illustration includes a person to represent an industry along with “tools of the trade”. These five characters are an engineer, a landscape architect, a planner, an architect and a neighbor. An important goal of the illustrations was to highlight the equitable mission and inclusivity of diversity of race, gender, age and ability.
Every scene takes place in professionals' studio/environment surrounded by tools such as blueprints, building models, maps, scope and some references to Philadelphia.
