Best platform games ever
Kids from 80s and 90s grew up with cartoons like Spiderman and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and video games like Sonic the Hedgehog. This is a personal project for celebrating the world of classic video games. In 1981 Nintendo released Donkey Kong, one of the earliest examples of the platform game genre. It was also the first appearance of Super Mario (original named Jumpman) probably the most popular character in videogame history. A few years later in 1987 Capcom created Megaman, an action platform that follows the adventures of an robotic humanoid hero. The first Sonic game was released in 1991 by Sega. The game was a success, spawned many sequels and the character became the official Sega's mascotte.
